The Acora Reneco Stick Robot design has been enhanced and improved through exhaustive research, design and workshop tests at our Eden facility.
The system has a simple yet reliable functionality, that actually replicates manual stick placing, but does it in such a reliable way that it is possible to run the whole system by utilizing only the stacker operator.
It is widely appreciated that the positioning of sticks is critical to good drying practice, yet manual stick placing is very labour intensive and prone to result in operator OH&S issues and is often the bottle neck for stacking function. The stick robot solves these problems!
The system is provided as standard with an Allen-Bradley Contrologix PLC and Panel View operator interface and SMC air components. Standard stick patterns are set-up and stored so operator input is simply to enter into the system the next pack coming from the sorter and control from then on is automatic.The complete system consists of:-
