Lineal Positioning Feed Table
Linear full profile scanning and positioning
True shape information with the Comact Optimisation full profile linear scanner
Minimum gap between each cant/board for maximum production
20% better recovery compared to line-bar infeed
- Linear positioners of the feed table skew and position each board/cant on the fly with only 4" gap between each piece. No 90 degree transfer
- Speeds up to 300 ft. per min. to gang edger or canter and 800 ft. per min. to feed board edger
- Linear servo positioners with knurled and chromed driven top and bottom feed rolls
- HD framing with stress relieved and line bored. Simplified mechanics to minimise maintenance
- Delivered in a complete module. Fast installation on a weekend.
- Delivered complete with scanners, coputers, optimised software, controlshydreaulic power unit and variable frequency drives
- The best feed table to control Comact sawing gang edger
True Shape Scanner
The true shape optical scanners are designed and built by Comact Optimisation Inc. with high quality, standard components. A powerful laser CCD area camera takes 60 readings per second, and an industrial computer analyzes the data to generate true shape profiles of the board or cant.
- Profile readings every 4"
- Optional every 1"
- Measurement accuracy +/- 0.020"

User Interface
The optimisation parameters are programed through simple, graphical menu screens. Configuration of the true shape scanners, status of inputs/outputs and many other utility parameters are easily adjustable to meet all your requirements.
- Optimisation by price or volume
- Comprehensive on screen documentation
Production Reports
The optivision linear optimiser generates automatically or upon request many numerical and graphical production reports.
A Unique Concept
The optimiser finds the best sawing solutions applicable to the parameters set by the user. Efforts were made to keep the man/machine relationship to the most simplistic approach without sacrificing any important performance criteria. The use of a touch screen and graphic icons makes the setting and programming more user friendly.
