Optimisation and rotation
- The Comact Optimisation software calculates the optimum cutting solution (price or recovery) for several rotation angles and selects the one with the highest value. The system then rotates the log at this precise angle
- A servo-controller pre-positions the log turner's rolls according to the diameter to reduce the distance between the logs and the rolls, thus increasing the rotational accuracy in high-speed applicatinos
- Furthermore, the vertical pre-positioning ensures a fast rotation up to 180 degrees
- Fully compatible with SAM and S3, the Comact Optimisatino interface and optimisation software
- Full 3D, high resolution display of the cutting solutions and corresponding rotation angle + front view + top/bottom/left views
- Angle resolution 5 degrees or better
- Display of nominal dimensions and grade of each piece
