The two airbag controlled pineapples are specifically designed in a spherical form to ensure constant infeed without breaking the fibres in the wood. The bridge rolls are controlled by the same airbags.
The clever Gilbert infeed system means that wood does not have to accumulate before the pineapples but can be fed in singular format.
The Gilbert Infeed Table for planers has a high feed performance of up to 1200 meters per minute. It ensures a constant feed and can be retro-fitted on all planers.
