The VARiOSORT integrated software system by Microtec
controls the automatic sorting and packaging of timber after primary processing. It reaches speeds of up to 240 boards per minute.

VARiOSORT operates all common mechanical systems such as bin sorters, tray sorters, pre and post storage etc. and can be combined with different sequences.

VARiOSORT runs using various Windows operating systems and the operator follows the operating method easily and intuitively as this platform is familiar to most users. Therefore application times are reduced to a minimum.

Various measuring systems can be connected upstream from VARiOSORT, such as BOARDSCAN or WANESCAN. The calculated measurements are stored in the sorting computer and allocated to a sort sequence. The selection tables are created quickly in a user-friendly manner.

As soon as VARiOSORT records the first stored board, the computer designates a free bin in the plant and fills it until it can be made into a bundle or package. Therefore it is not necessary to have a fixed bin order, and the optimal use of the sort bins is guaranteed. The docking, ripping and trimming processes are also controlled automatically.

At the packaging stage the sorted boards are emptied out of the filled bins and made into a package, and the packages are automatically bundled and packed with bundle tracking, stick positions and pack configuration all automatically controlled. It is also possible to print customized packet certificates.
