 The Full Profile Professional
WANESCAN is the new full-profile wane scanner by MiCROTEC. The DiSCAN 3D modules do not measure the board in intervals, but constantly and without gaps. Therefore WANESCAN recognizes all irregularities in the edges and gives an exact full profile of the board.
The combination of laser triangulation and the DiSCAN 100 differential reflection scanning enables WANESCAN also to recognize wane with very small warp and automatically calculates its height. It gives a realistic and true image of the shape and position of wane in lumber.
WANESCAN measures boards up to eight meters in length and visualizes their shape precisely.
