Newton Compact is Springer's inexpensive entry-level solution for timber processing. This timber laminating press can be incorporated into an existing system concept or set up as a stand-alone unit. It is compact and easy to operate, and therefore the ideal system for sawmills making their first investment in deriving additional value from their raw material.

The Newton Compact generates laminating pressure pneumatically, there are no hydraulic components and no complicated controls or operation. The unit works with constant side pressure, with automatic filling and emptying in lateral transport. This ensures the system footprint is as small as possible, with an unlimited length. The maximum pressing height is 1,000mm, with a maximum lath width of 260mm.
