Lumber Tally System

Every element of lumber inspection improves with Lucidyne’s Lumber Tally System. Grading is more accurate from the end of the board because the lumber inspector can see more of the lumber more clearly. Mechanically conveying the boards through the grade zone increases the speed of the inspection process. Automatically measuring the dimensions makes the tally accurate - every time.
Lucidyne’s engineers designed the LTS so that timber packagers could sort and tally with the same high productivity, grading accuracy and tally precision that used to be available to only large mills. Client profiles stored in the LTS computer enhance the service that marketers provide. Whether the customer wants one board or one thousand, the order is picked with more precision than ever available in manual operations.

Lumber Tally System Options

System service and valuable diagnostics are built into the Lumber Tally System. Sorting status can be displayed in real-time on a PanelView video terminal so mill personnel can see the state of every klimit switch, sensors and the details of each sort. This simplifies troubleshooting and minimises downtime.
Through the PC or PanelView, your personnel can change and verify paramaters quickly and easily. Grade, dimension and destinations of the last several boards are also shown in real time. Network links connect production and sales personnel directly to the inspection process. A modem link connects the system to Lucidyne’s 24 hour emergency service.
