Grade Mark Readers
A Lucidyne ColorScan Grade Mark Reader (GMR) is a high-resolution vision system that reads handwritten timber grade, trim and sort marks. The system processor interprets these marks and converts them into instructions, then communicates them to the trimmer or sorter control, timber tally system, trimmer optimiser or other control system.

Ramdom Thickness Measurement is a custom option tailored to your needs. Thickness is typically measured to within ± 1.1mm. Random length measurement is available on a customised basis and systems with higher accuracy are also available.
Random Thickness Measurement measures timber width to within ±4mm. The standard Report System expands to include random tallies by grade, grader and board thickness.
Storyboard display broadcasts production data and crew messages in brilliantly coloured letters. This display communicates current production levels
Trim Saver lets you mark each board where it needs to be trimmed. TrimSaver measures the distance from the end to the mark and tells the fence control where to cut.
Graphical Grader Display (GGD) shows individual grader performance data. It is continually updated - an excellent system for keeping your graders informed.
Mounting stand simplifies installation by suspending the Grade Mark Reader head over the timber line.

This black and white unit reads up to 10 symbols and is best used in conjunction with timber optimisers and sorters.
