Material Utilisation of Powdery Remainders
The production of steel and cast iron causes large quantities of waste such as: mill scale, mill scale sludge, blast furnace dust or cupola dust, which contain a very high share of valuable substances. Due to their nature they could not be taken back into production.
Thanks to the briquetting of these materials valuable oils and emulsions are recovered to be reused in production and metals are cleaned of impurities meaning they too are ready for remelting and reuse in the production process.
The first plant of this type having a capacity of 2.5 t/h is working in a factory in Bytom, Poland.
