Salton’s new single air pass cross shaft kiln allows timber to be dried for both high quality and high productivity. The new design focuses on drying uniformity using cross flow fan pairs and a continuous central plenum opening between the fans leading to higher and more uniform air velocities.
As with Salton’s double air pass kiln, the single air pass kiln is designed for safe, easy maintenance with wide catwalk access to tthe externally mounted air circulation motors, vent actuators and all aspects are designed with ease of maintenance in mind.
