ProfiSaw
The ProfiSaw is a profiling machine for producing sawn timber completely free from tear-outs while ensuring the highest chip quality.

With the ProfiSaw we are able to present a completely new system for
profiling. Instead of milling the profile out of a cant with cutters it
is sawn out with circular saws positioned both horizontally and vertically. ProfiSaw has been designed for processing squared cants and can be installed in direct connection to a Chipper Canter or as a stand-alone machine. |
ProfiSaw Features
Design
The machine has two pivoting frames with vertically and horizontally positioned circular saws powered via electric motors. Both frame units are in turn mounted on a joint base plate which is sealed on a dowel pin on the infeed side and plane guides on the outfeed side.
Load sensing guide plates and servo hydraulics guide the machine to follow the cant curve when sweep sawing. Outfeed works feature powered horizontal rollers.
Tool Change
The sawblade assemblies are easily changed since bth sides of the machine can swing open thus allowing an ergonomically correct change.
